Horsham Denne
Neighbourhood Council

Geographically, Denne Neighbourhood
(highlighted in the picture below) spans from the A264 in the North to where the
railway line meets Worthing Road in the South, from the railway station in the
East and the Broadbridge Heath roundabout to the west.    The North/South
border follows the curve of the railway line.  Denne Neighbourhood Council also
covers Horsham Town Centre - making a neighbourhood of some considerable
size.
Denne Neighbourhood Council was established in 1974
when Horsham Urban Council amalgamated with Chanctonbury
and Horsham Rural Councils to form Horsham District Council.
It was one of three Neighbourhood Councils to be established
to cover the unparished areas of Horsham.  The other
Neighbourhood Councils are Trafalgar Neighbourhood Council
and Forest Neighbourhood Council.

Denne Neighbourhood Council is a consultative body which
represents the views of the residents of Denne Neighbourhood.
District and County Councillors attend our meetings to
communicate our views to their respective councils and to
report back on any current relevant issues.
